Even though it has been three weeks ago, I thought I would put up info about our Thanksgiving weekend. We went to Laura's folks' place in Mississippi for the extended weekend (I took a couple extra days off work). We had a delightful and delicious time, as always. Laura's brother Tony and his family were there, as were Laura's sister Stephanie and her family. It was a fun weekend. Tony brought his tent for the kids and one adult (Tony was the adult for 2 of the nights, and I was once) to sleep in for the 3 nights that everyone was there. They had a ball sleeping outside. We also got to see our good friend Nathan Mitchell for a couple of the days that were there. He is doing pretty well, and improving greatly. (Feel free to e-mail him & say hello if you know him! He'd love it!). Despite the long drive, it was definitely a worthwhile weekend.
Just recently (today, in fact), Laura & I took the kids to see Prince of Egypt at a local cinema. It was terrific! A must-see!
We also had Dad & Mom and Dennis & Lyndi over Friday night for dinner. It's been a while -- since before Thanksgiving! Too long. It was nice, though. Laura made some of her wonderful quiche. Yum!
Somewhere in the near future, we should be going to Colorado to visit Bruce & Val Bohannon. While we are there, we will likely see Glen & Connie Mitchell, Andy & Karen Lee, and Ron & Billie Ann Newport. Oughta' be fun!
